Can I watch live NBA games within NBA Game Time?

Yes, either through purchasing League Pass Mobile via the In-App purchase or via your League Pass subscription purchased through your cable operator or satellite provider.

I purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile from the App Store or Google Play, do I need to Login?

No. If you have purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile through iTunes you do not need to use the League Pass/NBA.com login section to access games. You should be able click on a League Pass game within the app and watch the game without any need to login.

 

Can I watch NBA LEAGUE PASS games through my iPhone if I purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS Broadband?

No. You can only watch League Pass games on your phone if you purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile through the App Store or if you purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS through your TV provider. NBA LEAGUE PASS Broadband customers cannot authenticate on the phone.

 

I purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS from my TV provider and would like to access it on my iPhone, how can I do this?

If you’ve purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS from your TV provider and want to watch your device, you must activate your account here http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/activate. Once you receive your NBA.com email address and password, you can go the NBA LEAGUE PASS section within your device by clicking the "list" icon in the upper left of the screen, then selecting SETTINGS/INFO and then NBA LEAGUE PASS Login. Enter your NBA.com email/username and password to get access to NBA LEAGUE PASS games.

What is the difference between NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile, NBA LEAGUE PASS Broadband, and NBA LEAGUE PASS for TV?

  • NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile allows you to watch live regular season games* only from your smart phone through the NBA Game Time application and is purchased via the In-App purchase process.
  • NBA LEAGUE PASS Broadband allows you to watch live regular season games* from the web, your tablet, your connected device or your game console and is purchased at http://www.nba.com/leaguepass/broadband.
  • NBA LEAGUE PASS for TV allows you to watch live regular season games* on your television and includes both NBA LEAGUE PASS Broadband and NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile. In one package you can watch games on your television, computer, smart phone, tablet, connected device and game console. It is purchased from your TV provider. I purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile as an in-app upgrade. Do I need to log in in the SETTINGS/INFO menu where it says NBA LEAGUE PASS Login?

No. If you have purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile through iTunes you do not need to use the NBA LEAGUE PASS Login section to access games. Only customers who have purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS from their TV provider need to log in here.

 

Can I use my iTunes account username and password?

No.

 

Is there a Choice plan available for League Pass Mobile?

No.

Will the NBA LEAGUE PASS International work with NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile?

No, NBA LEAGUE PASS International is a separate offering and will not work with NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile.

Why are the games I'm trying to watch blacked out?

All nationally televised games will be blacked out. TNT/NBATV/ESPN/ABC have the exclusive rights to those games. Additionally, games being shown in your local area will be blacked out. Please see Blackout Information within the Game Time application for more information on our Blackout Policy and how it works.

 

What are the system requirements for iPhones and iPod Touch?

Applications work on all iOS devices with 6.0 or later operating systems.

Is NBA Game Time 2013-2014 compatible with other Apple Operation Systems?

NBA Game Time 2013-2014 is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.

 

The application is not loading or is in limbo for a long period of time.  What can I do?


 
iOS 6 users, follow these steps:
1. Close out of the app
2. Double-click the home button on your iPhone
3. You should see the NBA Game Time Logo
4. Press and hold the logo until it shakes in the screen.
5. Select the red minus “-“sign on the top left of the icon.
6. The application will disappear.
7. Press the home button one time.
8. Re-launch NBA Game Time.

iOS 7 users and above, follow these steps:

1. Close out of the app.
2. Double-click the home button on your iPhone.
3. You should see the NBA Game Time thumbnail in the tray.
4. To close the app, swipe upward on the thumbnail to dismiss it.
5. The application will disappear.
7. Press the home button one time.
8. Re-launch NBA Game Time.

 

The volume seems to be low.  What can I do?

Check the volume on both your device and the application.  These are the only two volume controls available.

 

 

How do I turn on closed captioning?

For ios 6 users:

1. Open the Settings App

2.  Tap on Video

3.  Turn on Closed Captioning

For ios 7 users:

1. Go to your iPhone Settings

2.  Click General

3.  Click Accessibility

4.  Click Subtitles & Captioning

5.  Turn On Closed Captions + SDH

6.  While watching a NBA LEAGUE PASS game, click on the "CC" button and captions will appear

 

My data will not refresh.  What do I do?

Close the application and restart your mobile device.  Please check your mobile device user’s manual for more information as needed.

 

How can I view non-nationally televised games if I have NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile?

If the games are not nationally televised, enable GPS or location services on your device. If the application cannot determine your location, all games will be shown as blacked out.

How do I get a refund for an in-app purchase for NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile?

Locate the email receipt for your iTunes Store purchase and click the “Report Problem” link next to the app that you would like to return to start the refund process.

If I have NBA LEAGUE PASS on my phone, can I transfer my account to a different phone? If so, how?

If you purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS through your TV provider:

  • Use your NBA.com user name and password to login to the application
  • Go to Settings/Info
  • Go to NBA LEAGUE PASS Login

If you purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS through an in-app purchase:

  • Click on the game you want to watch
  • Click on LEAGUE PASS
  • Click Restore Purchase on the Buy Page
  • Enter your Apple ID from which you previously purchased NBA LEAGUE PASS Mobile
